tougou is only present in one chapter from osomatsu-kun, and he's not even canon in -san (at least not yet, praying for s4!!), so initially i didn't really get the hype, but fanartists and writers convinced me otherwise!

some of osomatsu's traits are very fun to explore if you incorporate tougou's presence into -san. being a raging pervert with no sense of boundaries after being assaulted as a child (because let's face it, osomatsu was a very cute boy!). needing attention at all times because the one time he didn't have the spotlight, he was tormented. even his gambling addiction seems like a way to chase thrills similar to being forced to rob his neighbors.

i think, initially, their relationship was a much softer kind. tougou spoiled him, taught him "adult things", but most important, tougou's attention, at least the kind that osomatsu in particular got, was one thing he didn't have to share with his brothers. all of it (or maybe not?) from tougou's side was an act, of course, but a young boy doesn't know or care. only after osomatsu discovered tougou's secret did the abuse become less gentle.

i'm also incredibly superficial and love little boys in peril, especially when the cause of said peril is a tall older man. i love aus where tougou actually does end up kidnapping osomatsu and introduces him to a life of crime. they have a strange unhealthy domestic situation going on. at least in this universe, osomatsu isn't a jobless virgin, haha...

i think an adult osomatsu + tougou is interesting. i think tougou finds him a nuisance, but osomatsu is still needy (even if he is resistant to the idea of going back to his abuser at first). tougou would never see him as a lover, but he deep down, he has fond feelings for him.

i have a lot of personal headcanons for tougou. i'll make an entire page dedicated to them at some point, but here's a few i have: i do think he's a pedophile and has touched other boys before. i also think the three people he mentioned killing are his parents and brother. osomatsu didn't testify about being raped by him, so tougou was only sentenced for armed robbery and attempted kidnapping. after he got out of jail, he got a job at an insurance company. he was in his 30s in -kun and would be 45 in -san.

i kinda do and don't want tougou to come back in canon, because imagining that episode going like how they typical do makes me want to die. but! the show has appealed to fujos before, and it won't stop now. he's even made cameos in certain episodes and the movie, but they seem more like little nods than anything concrete. regardless, i'm happy enough with the creativity of shippers! i love these two very much!
