they. are the blueprint. this is baby's first ososan ship, but can you blame me? even from the early episodes, they have so many good moments together. they're always together, even from oso-kun era. i can't resist a sun/moon + cat/dog pairing! jyushimatsu does a lot to make his older brother happy, and ichimatsu goes with the flow. i like that jyushi doesn't take ichi's words at face value and knows how fragile ichi's heart is. when jyushimatsu's attempts at cheering him don't work out, he's quick to apologize. ichimatsu is similarly ready to help his brother when things go wrong.

i think they're each other's favorite brother. they're together so often, and even though they try not to play favorites, it's a little obvious. they hang out a lot and have a lot of silly convos. ichimatsu has a few weird philosophies about the world, and jyushimatsu not only considers them, but adopts them, too! meanwhile, ichimatsu indulges in jyushimatsu's hobbies, like, uh... being walked on a leash.

i feel like the older/younger brother dynamic isn't huge with them because it doesn't need to be. they're brothers, and i think their relationship would be the same even if their ages switched, unlike some of the other brother dynamics.
